Biography

Ms. Kramer began practicing in 2020, after retiring from a career as a School Psychologist with the New York City Department of Education. Her years in education were spent in a District 75 High School for severely disabled students. There, Ms. Kramer assisted families with planning for their students, including helping them qualify for eligibility from the Office for People with Developmental Disabilities and helping the families obtain services from Care Management agencies.


Ms. Kramer is admitted to practice in New York. She received her law degree from the City University of New York and holds a Master’s degree in Education with an Advanced Certificate in School Psychology, as well as a Master’s degree in Disability Studies. She received her Bachelor’s degree in English from Queens College.


Ms. Kramer has donated her time to Pro Bono projects with both the New York City and New York State Bar Associations, assisting clients who have been diagnosed with a terminal illness with their Wills and other end of life documents, and clients who lost family members to COVID with administering their loved one’s estates.
Ms. Kramer is also certified by the Office of Court Administration to serve as a Court Evaluator and Counsel for Alleged Incapacitated Persons in Article 81 proceedings in Part 36 cases proceedings, and as a Guardian ad Litem in Article 17-A proceedings and in Probate and Administration proceedings in Surrogate’s Court.


Ms. Kramer has continued to be involved with her law school, serving as a mentor to students preparing for the bar exam. She continues giving back to the school community by attending events like the Transition Fair and answering questions for parents who are concerned about their child’s long-term needs and financial futures.
